Main Artist Profile

For my front cover and double page spread I intent to use the same artist as this is expected by the audience. I want to portray my protagonist as young, enthusiastic and someone who has the persona to be a successful role model for my target audience. This will be easier to achieve as the target audience and main artist will be around the same age. Although I am straying from the typical female main artist, I aim to still have the same inspiring effect as any popular female star would. My main artist will show a passion for music and the industry predominantly on my double page spread.
When photographing my artist I will be thinking about their representation in terms of youth and Dick Hebdige's theory that "youths are fun".
