Masthead Construction

 Here are some examples of successful music and fashion magazine mastheads. I researched into a lot of varied magazine genres, I found that the titles reflected the classification they are from. For example VOGUE and Q have sophisticated serif fonts, which mirrors the overall style of the magazine. I knew that I did not want carry the same connotations as what these two examples have, as I was designing a pop magazine it had to be simpler however just as effective. Most of these titles adapt different colours depending on the colour pallets of the magazine itself.
