Title- I came up with three initial ideas for my magazine title, which I put in my target audience survey. These were Sound, Current and Listen Up. I chose to use Listen Up as it was firstly rated the highest by my audience and secondly I feel this title can be easily recognised by a music magazine audience. I will use a Serif font for my title design, as it give a new and fresh connotation, I would also be following an important convention of the pop magazine genre. The colour of the title will depend on my main image and final colour pallet. It will be eye catching and relevant to the target audience.

Institution- I would choose Bauer to publish my music magazine as it is a successful business that is well known for good quality products within media. This company do not currently publicize a Pop magazine, they produce names such as KERRANG! and Q. Which are both very popular within their target markets. Therefore I would chose this institution as I feel it could promote my magazine as a new idea and concept from a differing genre other than what is expected.
Font notes- The font styles I will choose will look contemporary and modern. I will use Serif font for the majority of my text, particularly for conventions such as double page spread articles and general information. This is because it makes the page look professional and stylish which appeals to the target audience; it makes them feel privileged to read the magazine. I will also use a Serif style font for other key features such as artist and title names, dates, cover lines, double page spread headline or subheading. I feel this will give the content visual variety and make it initially look more exciting. Using Serif fonts to highlight important details is a typical convention of popular music magazines.
